2025 WINTER LEAGUES

• 14 week league starting the week of January 13, 2025 and ending the week of April 14, 2025

• Registration is by foursome - Appoint one player to register your group. 

• Singles, twosomes and threesomes can email us at leagues@golfplay.ca and we will do our best to pair you with others.

• Each group can choose their weekly day and tee time - Two hour tee-time slots will allow your foursome to get in 9 holes each week.

Tee Times:

• Kitchener Men’s League: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday with tee times starting at 4:30; 5:00; 6:30; 7:00; 8:30; 9:00

• Waterloo Men’s League: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday with tee times starting at 4:30; 5:00; 6:30; 7:00; 8:30; 9:00

• Kitchener Ladies League: Tuesday with tee times starting at 4:30; 5:00; 6:30; 7:00; 8:30; 9:00

• Waterloo Ladies League: Monday with tee times starting at 4:30; 5:00; 6:30; 7:00; 8:30; 9:00

• Preference for day and tee time are available on a first-come first-paid basis - *Note - once you select your day and time, it’s yours for the entire 14 week season.

Points & Prizes:

• 9 holes, individual score format - Players will be put into flights after week #2 - Number of flights will be determined after registration and after the first two week's scores have been recorded 

• Each week, prizes will be awarded for: Top Gross Score (Flighted after week two), Top Net Score (Flighted after week two), Closest to the Pin, Longest Putt. There will also be a weekly draw for a Double-Par Nachos Platter! 

• 9 Hole Rounds will be played on one of our 200+ courses. We'll play a different course every week!

• Gross Skins Every Week – $5 / week for those who wish to participate - bring cash please. (Note - no handicaps will be used)

• Yearly point totals are established by weekly ranking in the player's designated flight (Flights decided after week two) based on net scoring. Note that all net scores will be calculated using 80% of the League Handicap, adjusted for 9 holes.

• Golfplay Fall League Champions will be crowned in each flight after the last week based on their yearly point total. Grand prizes will be handed out for the top three winners of each flight!

  • Points will be earned each week based on players net and gross ranking in their respective flight

  • Net points will be awarded to the top 25 players in the flight (1st - 25 points, 2nd - 24 points, 3rd - 23 points, etc.)

  • Gross points will be awarded to the top 10 players in the flight (1st - 10 points, 2nd place - 9 points, 3rd place - 8 points, etc.)

  • The final two weeks of the season will be the Playoffs and points will DOUBLE

    • Playoff Net points: 1st - 50 points, 2nd - 48 points, 3rd - 46 points, etc.

    • Playoff Gross points: 1st - 20 points, 2nd - 18 points, 3rd - 16 points, etc.

***NEW to 2025 Winter League***

• There will be three weeks of team play to earn year end point totals:

  • Week #1 - Four Person 9-Hole Scramble

  • Week #4 - Four Person Combined Net Score

  • Week #7 - Four Person Combined Net Score

  • Team competition points will be awarded to the top three teams and point totals will be added to the individual player totals.

• The price paid at registration includes your weekly bay time, league administration as well as all weekly and end of season prizes. 

 

Registration Fees:

Per Player - $395.00 + HST = $446.35
Per Foursome: $1,580.00 + HST = $1,785.40
